Sun 20th June - Day 65, Chalybeate Springs to Westerdale (19 miles)

A better day with some blue sky but I still set off in waterproofs. The path was fairly easy to identify but doesn't look as though it is used. After 2 hours I reached the track.
The showers gradually ceased & just before lunch I took my overtrousers off, it has been 3 days since my legs have been exposed, but it was still cold.

The track joined the road just past Loch More, it's all road now from here to the end.
Having a daughter who lives in Scrabster is handy & Fiona picked me up just past Westerdale after 20 miles.
With only 25 miles to go I'll do 22 miles tomorrow & walk the last 3 with Sandra on Tuesday morning to finish in time to catch the 10:30 ferry from John o' Groats to Burwick.
