Log No 365. Fri 4th Jul 2014 - A rest day (5560 miles walked)

There was no reason at all for me to need a rest day but only having 70 miles left to do in 9 days it was easier to have extra rest days rather than walking just 8 miles every day.

As it was, my shoes had just about given up and I couldn't see them lasting more than a couple days longer so it was an opportunity to go into Lincoln and get a new pair.

The new pair I bought were half the price of my last pair so I don't know how well they will perform but there is no hard walking to do now.
