Log No 360. Sun 29th Jun 2014 - A rest day at Wainfleet All Saints (5496 miles walked)

I did a bit of overtime this week, walking the full 7 days and covering 120 miles so the rest day felt justified.

I whiled away some of the time by taking the tour round the brewery, it didn't seem right just paying the concessionary rate of £3.95 especially as you got a voucher for a half pint of one of their cask ales.

Batemans Brewery was founded 140 years and is still a family run business.



With only 140 miles or so to go and 13 days to walk it in it should be very easy going now although Mick has scheduled a 20 mile day for me when I cross the Humber.

Mick & Karen live in Lincolnshire so I'll even have a few nights in a bed from Wednesday and, even better, Sandra is coming down on the Tuesday to stay with them for the duration of the walk, I haven't seen her since my last break in March.
